Bike Maintenance & Repair Clinic for Absolute Beginners

Bring in your bike & learn how to clean, lubricate & adjust it, so that it's fun to ride again. De-mystify brake adjustments, tire pressure ratings, gear shifters. Un-stick what got stuck over the winter.

This is a casual but completely 'hands-on' clinic to help you work on your own bike. We can't fix it for you though. We'll explain how things work, provide some basic tools and cleaning equipment and coach you as you go. We can even show you how to change a tire if you've got a new one. (we don't sell tires or spare parts but we have a few used, spare tires - free if they fit your bike)

We can also tell you if your bike has problems that require a real bike mechanic. We are NOT a bike repair shop and do not sell bike repair services or bike parts.

Since this is 'hands-on' do it yourself, we recommend that you wear old clothes and bring a pair of gloves.

There will be a maximum of 10 participants. You must register in advance if you want to attend. No walk-ins will be allowed.

This is a not-for-profit event. The fee of $7.50 covers shop supplies and cleaning products.
